I am interested in getting into the whole show car thing, but I do not know much about it. Anyone with some experience got any pointers? How to get started, sponsors, etc?

Since your new to it.. best to probably get a bodykit (which you have) and some nice rims (roja's are nice that we sell .. hehe).

Unless you know some personal contacts, your not going to get sponsored right away, you have to fix up your car yourself some and than start showing at shows a lot

 

I appreciate the advice. You have a sick car BTW, I saw it at the Stillen event.

Anyone else have any comments. Not alot of action on this thread

Start saving your money for mods, stop eating spend it on mods, dump the girlfriend or wife to save money to spend on mods.

At the very least get some rims before even considering doing a show.

 

Don't worry everyone.....Rims are on the radar...lol. I plan on getting the 5zigen Hyper 5ZR's in chrome. I will have those within the next couple of weeks.

 

in other words. you have to set yourself apart from everyone else here for someone to sponsor you and not that other guy that is going to post below me
