Default New Car Search

Ladies and Gents,

The time has come for me to look for a new car. As most of you know by looking at the mess, which was my car, I am in need of a new ride.

I really loved my Z, but it was so impractical. I don't owe anything on the Z ... and I plan to use a majority of the money from my settlement for the down.

so far I have test driven an 05 Legacy GT and an VW R32.

I'm still going to test drive others. Let's see on my list are:

G35 Coupe/Sedan
Volvo V40/V50 Turbo
Audi A4 1.8T Quattro
Volvo V50 Wagon
WRX
and the Titan..

Any other suggestions 35K or less??

I'd take the G35 Coupe from your choices.
If your board with that platform then I'd pick
WRX only if it's the STi.

have you thought about the Acura TL ?
A bud of mine just bought one, It's very nice.

Have you totally given up on the Z? I honestly dont see anything compelling in the sub 35K range other than the G35 Coupe and 350Z. Sounds like you need more room and back seats and stuff. So I would have to vote for the 2005 G35...which has 305 HP.

A badass Titan with a lift kit, offroad lamps, big tires, rollbar, and multimedia system...oh wait this is my fantasy for a tow truck for the Z.

Hey guys, thanks for your input. I loved my Z and I wish I had it back, but I don't think I could get another one.... It's just not MY Z. I know I know I'm a big baby.

Although this whole accident has ruined my enjoyment for car shopping, I have narrowed down the choices to:

G35C
G35S (BTW when do the 2005's come out?)
Subaru Legacy 2.5Turbo

Nissan Titan
Toyota Tundra

Any other cars I should look at?

if you thought the Z was impractical, go for the legacy, subarus really on the ball lately.
i went from the g35 to the Z and let me tell you, the z is like the same car but performs a hell of a lot better, im not looking back.

Awight peeps. I made the mistake of going to the Infiniti dealer and looking around. I have always been intrigued by the FX35, while he was chasing some G Coupe/Sedans for me. I took a hard look at the FX...

Damn what a nice ride. From what he was telling me, the G in both the sedan and coupe 6MT was very hard to find (I think he was BS'ing). So, I took a quick drive in the FX and was pleasantly surprised. now the tag is pretty steep, but if anyone has any info on how flexible the prices are, please let me know.

BTW the Tech Packagae is the Bomb!!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks for any help guys.

okay fellas.. I should get my check sometime this week, barring an idiotic moves by 21st century. BTW these guys are clown shoes. That's another post.

So, I've done my research and looked and prices and invoice prices. How do you negotiate the best price? I'm open to anything.

Thanks,

Tenn

are you settled on the FX?

btw as soon as i buy a bike im switching back to tripple A, it may be more expensive for most things(i know bikes are cheap with AAA) but theres no hassle for a claim, and they get your money back QUICK.

I am enamored with the VQ and the way it drove... I know it's not a Z, but it was a great ride. It's got more room and it looks like a beast. I am still looking, but im leaning toward the FX.
