I going to come out for the opening of the canyon run so if it's sunday let's decide.

whichever date it is, we need to pick one soon.

 

Either the 28th or 29th works for me if these are the dates we have narrowed down to. Looks like the 29th is better for most by looking at past threads.

 

Any date is good for us, we have no lives! I live for Z gatherings!

 

Sunday 29th definitely better. I'll also be convoying to the drift event that afternoon as well...

BTW, I'll be driving a G35C... hfm, you might remember me w/ zguy on our reconaissance run last time... have you gotten your e-brake fixed?

 

Hey Trev, good to hear you're going to make it. Rob might be making it too. I'm sure one of you two would make a great point man to lead the group.

Okay gang, zman is right, Sunday 29th has the least number of conflicts so in fairness, that is the definite date. Sorry to anyone who is unable to make this date. Don't worry, we'll have future runs.

Since Jen is the biggest foreign dork of them all (for getting left behind and lost on almost all runs), I am posting my cell number just in case. We will also be bringing our radios, but for whatever reason the cells do work, he it is.....someone please take note (Ahem, Dan, TJ, Ed...) anyone who is willing to be stuck behind at the end with moi!

Is anyone interested in meeting up at the Shell gas station at 190th Street and Crenshaw Boulevard at 8:00 AM? People from O.C., Long Beach, and South Bay can meet there first (as they did on a past Canyon Run). Then leaving about 8:15 am to hook up with the main group meeting place in Woodland Hills.

The run I went on, there were about 18 cars that met early and then made a caravan to the main meeting location.

Also, for security, I think it's a good idea NOT to give out detailed directions of the run in advance, just at the meet up point in Woodland Hills.

Jen, I have your cell. And, I think you should have a mod delete your post. Last thing you need is some wacko calling you. Don't worry, I promised you wont get lost on the run and I do my best to keep promises. You'll be either behind me or in front of me.

Kiliki, read my post above for the meet location. I'll probably start another post so that anyone who doesn't bother to check back with this thread will note the location and the change in date.

 

I'm down with the meet at the gas station.....and Thanx Dan. You're right. But I like to give people the benefit of the doubt by not being wackos. Guess I can't be too careful, huh?

 

I'll probably be in the back of the pack with you. My first run. I do have GPS tho, hopfully we wont get lost even with it. I have a chrome silver ZR. I'll be bringing my gf, Jen as well.
