Unhappy My powder coating project didnt go as planned

I powder coated my wheels blue, I thought it was gonna come out dark blue. The sameple looked like it was dark blue but that was due to the lighting. Picked them up today and spent 4-5hrs putting my wheels back together and swapped wheels. I havent seen it in th day time yet but i think it looks like I ran over a freakin smurf with my wheels. I guess I gotta take them apart and get them powder coated once again but hopefully this time I'll pick the right color. At night it dont look that bad just the day time I think. I'll get pics up tomorrow. On a good note, the place that did the powder coating, simply WOW! the quality came out really really good. I'm going back there for sure and they had really good prices too.

whoa.never seen anything like that before. The color you were going for is an anodized finish which gives it more metallic properties.

the pics didnt come out very well, its actaully a lil darker in person. But yea the ones in the first pic have a bit more metallic to it, I just wanted the color, I didnt expect it to have the same metallic properties.

Looks good I think. It will definitely look sweet if you have a blue-torched Titanium exhaust to match it up...

You need to take some pictures with the wheels in some sun. All the pictures you posted are in shadows, so it's hard to tell.

For me, I wouldn't do that color. I've grown to like bronze, but with a silver lip. Blue is a little much for me.
