Default New Corvettes?

These things are supposed to be able to break into the 12s in the quarter right? The reason that I ask is because....well....lets just suppose I have knowlege that a bone stock Z can give an honest run to a brand new ('05) Vette.

About 2 to 3 seconds difference. Imagine you could pick up, or should I say, take off a few seconds for less than the difference in the the two pricetags................

I dont think its as much as 2 to 3 seconds. Everything that Ive seen about the new vettes says about 12.80 or so, compared with a Z at 14.00 to 14.50...either way, it should be less than 2 seconds difference. You do make a good point about the price tags though. I wonder what the TT or blown Z guys are runnin (still cheaper than a Vette).
