I never understood why people mind chatter so much. It's not like its prematurely wearing out or something. If someone cant stand chatter, they should stop modding the car b/c everything only gets louder

car gets louder and smells worse and worse. Troof.

 

A car is supposed to get louder because you add forced induction or upgrading a stereo. Modding should not cause the car to sound like it is falling apart. As a matter of fact, you can use fatmat or dynomat to prevent the car from getting "louder" so what you say makes no sense. Adding the fuel system to my car didn't cause it to get louder. However, adding a flywheel that is lighter because it is not the same specs as the OEM flywheel causing a "chatter" is not something people "should" have to live with.

 

well, without splitting hairs, yes youre correct, but in general, there have just been alot of " OEM-ifying my car" threads lately.. some of us are scratching our heads as to the direction of the replies is all..

anyways.. lighter doth not matter.. tis the loss of the dual mass fw that makes the squirrel's chatter.
and i friking love squirrels.
