Premier, that sounds really nice, but I doubt we will get over 3 people to participate in this deal. 490 is not a bad deal however, flying in a tech, roundtrip tickets split between 3 people will put us over what sunmasters quoted 350zluvr. Also, it has to be a day where all 3 of us have nothing to do so that might complicate things.

Yes, that is $490 installed for a group of 3. We fully understand the problem with coordinating 3 cars to be at one location on the same day, but this is why we chose weekends, to make it easier for everyone.

Again, installation time is 2.5-3 hrs per car and the film comes w/ a lifetime warranty. The person who lends us their garage will receive an additional 10% off the group buy price. Feel free to email us if anyone has questions........whether it's about this group buy or just about paint protection film in general. Thanks.

can you get these installed if you already have a few nics in the bumper? or should you touch the nics up first?

Greetings Premier Mobile, Very interesting. So as I understand you actually bring someone out for a group buy situation and the installed price varies by the number of vehicles. So how is subsequent warranty work handled? For example, what if I need a piece replaced six months later?

I recall hearing good about the Venture film. However, I don't recall whether it's vinyl, urethane, or other? What's the ml thickness? Did you post your website and I just missed it? I really haven't had a chance do a search for this yet.

I've certainly got a garage, but am not completely sold on the idea yet. I appreciate you taking my questions. TIA.

daequitz - Yes, those are indeed very good questions.

So as I understand you actually bring someone out for a group buy situation and the installed price varies by the number of vehicles.
-Yes, we utilize group buying power to obtain the best pricing.

So how is subsequent warranty work handled?
All warranty claims will be handled by Venture Tape. You would contact them directly and they will handle the claim.

For example, what if I need a piece replaced six months later? Venture warranty's their film from bubbling, fading, and yellowing. If the film gets scraped or damaged outside the scope of the warranty, the film will not be covered - this is the same whether it's 3m, llumar, avery, and all others.

I recall hearing good about the Venture film. However, I don't recall whether it's vinyl, urethane, or other?
-it is a new technology urethane.......different from their major competitor - 3m. You're right about Venture's quality. It's the clearest film on the market along with Madico and comes with a lifetime warranty. There were tests completed by Nissan between 3m and venture where a probe is used to test the strength of the films. 3M's film punctured w/ a 9lb probe while Venture's film did not puncture until 20lbs.

What's the ml thickness? Did you post your website and I just missed it?
It's an 8 mil film. Our website is www.premiermobilegroup.com, but it is currently under construction.

I appreciate you taking my questions.
-no problem, it is our pleasure to help out the Z and G community.......especially since I own the G!

hypeiv - We would recommend you have those minor chips touched up before film application bc the film does not hide chips. However, do be careful as not to have the paint run.......this will look like a lump underneath the film.

Does the film cover the entire front end (including bumper) or is it just for the hood?

3-fity - the group buy pricing covers the following STOCK parts:
-hood portion, fender caps, mirrors, and the front bumper.

Plus, we are opening this group buy to other vehicles as well, but pricing may vary slightly. So this could potentially help out w/ getting enough vehicles for the group buy....

In addition, please refer to 350zluvr's close up pics of his z's clearbra installation. Take a look at the close up of the area right below the left headlight. The film stops where the area bends in right below the lights. Our clear bra kit is designed to wrap this area as well to not leave it exposed for rock chipping.

Let me mention again, that we are able to perform full hood wraps and custom applications (aftermarket bumpers) at an additional cost. Please email for inquiry - sales@premiermobilegroup.com

Here are the dates we are offering for this group buy:

Jan 21-23
Jan 28-29
Feb 4-6
Feb 11-13

It seems like there is at least some interest so, I will start the list below. Please copy and paste the list only, your username, vehicle make/model, and date preferred

Sorry all, I see the momentum building here but I'm still not all in with the out-of-town deal.

If I have a warranty problem subsequent to install, which I've had in the past, I take it back to the local installer and they take care of it - no charge. Sure, for SunMasters that's only for five years, however the Premier option requres dealing with the manufacturer and then deal with a local installer at a price. Did I understand that right? Dealing with the manufacturer can be a bi$tch.

I wasn't completely clear. Where are we with the comparison OTD package prices for say SunMaster's(3M) vs Premier's(Venture) installation of the front bumper and hood kits (example using P423 and P423B kits from xpel.com)?

This looks to be the Venture manufacturer; VentureTape Corp. It mentions 6ml and 12ml products. I'm not sure if that includes the adhesive, which may bring the 6ml to 8ml as Premier quoted.

I realize Premier is taking a risk traveling out here with only a 25% deposit, however I feel like they're here and then gone......

Sounds like getting the necessary garage space and picking up the "crew" for Premier isn't a problem.

It appears Premier has been a forum member since October - a newbie like me.

Forgive me for being ****.

-If it is a problem with the film, then Venture will handle all claims because their warranty is different from all others in the industry - Lifetime Warranty. If there is a problem with the workmanship, then it will show up within a few hrs after the install. The only type of installation warranty that occurs in this industry is lifting on edges, and again, this shows up w/in hrs of the install. We seal up all edges and seams so there will be no lifting at all. The film holds some 50lbs of pressure per sq inch, so once it's dry, it takes a lot to lift it. Again, any workmanship issue that arises, will arise within the first few hrs of installation.......which is non-existant for us as we seal up all of the edges before leaving that vehicle. Once it's sealed, the film is going to stay on there w/ enough pressure to blister your fingers when removing the film.

I wasn't completely clear. Where are we with the comparison OTD package prices for say SunMaster's(3M) vs Premier's(Venture) installation of the front bumper and hood kits
-well, if we're at say the minimal of 3, the flight costs approximately $65 per vehicle, which brings the cost to $555 and $480 for 6 cars. The more vehicles that get in on the group buy the less it will cost as the flight ticket will be dispersed.

This looks to be the Venture manufacturer; VentureTape Corp. It mentions 6ml and 12ml products. I'm not sure if that includes the adhesive, which may bring the 6ml to 8ml as Premier quoted.
-Yes, Venture doesn't advertise their film's thickness along w/ their adhesives...........2mil is w/ thier patented acrylic adhesives bringing the total to 8mils
