Default 2nd annual RB Texas Stampede, Feb. 26 from Austin, Texas

This event is being organized for Nissan and Infiniti car owners only.

The second annual Raging Bull Texas Stampede, a countryside drive on some of the most scenic and challenging roads in Texas, will be on Saturday, February 26, 2005. It is a 300+ mile course that starts in Austin, Texas and has been designed for our maximum enjoyment (we’ll leave in the morning and come back before sundown to have dinner and share stories of the day). Detailed maps and directions will be provided, so no one needs to worry about getting lost. If you want to enjoy driving your Nissan or Infiniti car all day, the way it was designed to be driven, come on out and ride with us. More information regarding this event can be found at:

www.RBTexasStampede.com

The FAQ page will, hopefully, answer all of your questions. If not, please write me. This year's Raging Bull will be a totally different route spanning nine counties. Every Z club in Texas has been invited (Abilene, Dallas, Fort Worth, Austin, San Antonio, Houston, and the 350Z Roadster Club), so there should be plenty of new people to meet and rides to check out. Last year’s Stampede had 350Z Coupes and Roadsters, 300ZXs, a 280ZX, 240SXs, and G35 Sedans and a Coupe. Drivers came in from as far away as Del Rio, Abilene, and Dallas.

As before, registration is required which can easily be done at the web site.

Look forward to seeing you at the Stampede!

Hi wireben,

Last year, the first time the Stampede was put on, we had 14 cars (you can read the types of cars under the FAQ on the web site).

I hope to get a link to the Stampede video as well as photos and articles up on the web site some time soon.

Until then, the video can be downlaoded from:

http://350zroadsterclub.com/videosMenu.html

On the left side under Roadster Videos it is the one that says "350ZRC's 2nd Meeting & Raging Bull Texas Stampede (19 mb)". Pat, the President of the 350ZRC.com created the video. Many thanks to him.

P.S. The reasons it is referred to as "350ZRC's 2nd Meeting..." is due to the fact that last year's Stampede was sponsored by the 350Z Roadster Club.

Here's an update:

The 350Z Roadster Club is, again, sponsoring this year's event. This means that all 350Z Roadster owners get in FREE, regardless of whether they are a 350ZRC.com member or not.

Also, the run will be about 270+ miles.

FYI.

FYI: The post-Stampede report for last year's Stampede, the two-page article printed in the Austin Z Club's newsletter, and video created by 350ZRC.com have all been posted to the event's web site under the "Previous Stampedes" section at:

http://www.rbtexasstampede.com/stampedespast.html

Pictures are coming soon, but some of them can be seen in the newsletter article.

I am sorry for plugging this event again, but I thought y'all might be interested in this information.

One of the returning Bull Riders from last year's Stampede has generously donated a brand new Jim Wolf Technology (JWT) G35 '03 Pop Charger air filter with heat shield (still shrink wrapped in its box). This kit sells for $120 at CourtesyParts.com. JWT claims it will produce a 6.5 HP increase at the wheels. 350Z owners can also use this kit with the purchase of a 350Z heat shield kit from JWT for $25.

At dinner Saturday night, every G35 and 350Z driver who completes the Stampede will be entered into a drawing - free of charge - to win this kit. For more information regarding the kit go to:

http://www.jimwolftechnology.com/cus...asp?PartID=444

If any more Nissan/Infiniti parts and/or accessories are donated, they will be given away the same way (for general items (e.g. NISMO sun visor), everyone who finishes the Stampede, regardless of the make/model of their vehicle, will qualify to enter the drawings).
