We at www.300zxclub.com are having a cruise in Houston on the 25 of this month. We will be meeting at the Hooters on Nasa Rd. for dinner then cruise to HRP for some fun-runs.

We are expecting 25 to 30 people...mostly Z32's, Z33's, G35's and a RX-7/RX-8 club, as well as some others: Z4, WRXs, etc.

We'd like to give everyone here an invitation to join us...because this is a Z cruise! The more the merrier...we also have a Datsun Z coming out as well...so any Z is welcome.

Just rsvp on one of these to let us know if you're coming out...we've already talked with the Hooters location...and will be setting up before 7 to reserve tables...then we are cruising down to Houston Raceway Park. We spoke with HRP and Friday night will be a good night for us...they are having an event on Saturday so they will have some drag cars out to look at Friday night(but will not be on the track). $15 to race all night...$8 to sit in the stands.

We will have digital cameras, video, and 2-way's for the cruise.

We going to have a great time...so come on out!

Are you a member of Capital City Z...and if so, how come you haven't contacted the Z Club of Houston about this event?

Glad to hear that SOMEONE has had luck contacting HRP.
They claim that they support club involvement, but after repeated emails about having one of our events there....I STILL haven't gotten any response (this is going on two months).

Well, it shouldn't be too confusing...most of the people coming out have been to HRP....so shouldn't be a problem...we will have maps & directions for everyone. Also we will have 2-ways and cell #'s available so we can keep in contact if anyone strays from the group.

Mike, MGH@300zxclub.com is a member of Z Car Club of Houston...and from what he told me-he already mentioned it to them. I know they have another cruise on Sunday the 27th outside Livingston(which myself and MGH will be at).

I did speak with HRP about our group coming out...and they seemed very happy to have us...hopefully we'll have a good time.

We will be going over some ground rules prior to the cruise...so we can keep things safe and hassle free. The "moderators" for this event is myself, MGH, Frenchy, Kamelonz, Nopistn all at www.300zxclub.com.

We are expecting about 15 to 20 Z's as well as several other Nissans and Mazda RX-7's and Porsche/BMW's.

A few of us are off that day, so we will have everything set up for the meet...dinner@Hooters, directions out to HRP, and go over details before hitting the road.

Hope you make it out Zcardave...we have several Z33's coming out including a couple Z33TT's!

I am planning on coming out... Need to visit my family in houston anyway so I figured I would do it next weekend. I don't know about going to HRP but I plan to make it to hooters to see some cars, take pictures and meet other Z owners.

is it the one on I-45 Nasa Rd. 1 Exit
or

The one on I-45@Nasa Rd 1...There's a huge parking lot behind it...bunch of shops...I think they have an Old Navy.

Glad you came by this post...we've had a lot of feedback from Houston Imports...was kind of worried the Z's were going to get overrunned...this is after all a Z meet!

so what did everyone run?

 

N/A guyz (Z32's) ran low 15's...Gonzo(Z33TT) I think ran a 13.2? Not eveyone ran at the track...even though we had about 14 cars drive out to Houston Raceway Park...not eveyone raced.

We will be posting details about the next meet sometime this week...so stay tuned! We had a very good turn-out and everyone is excited about the next meet...so hold on!
