I posted in the other thread as well, but am planning on attending. The drive will suck, but I am sure it will prove to be well worth it!

The drive isn't the best part for Texans?

I drove to Colorado and it felt like I was in texas for the whole trip. I'll I saw on my way north in texas was flat and nothing to look at. It all depends on where you drive.

Didn't mean to cause any problems....just kind of protective of my home state. I've been to Colorado many times, and it, like most states, has it's good parts and it's bad.
Texas has no real mountains (although the Davis Mts. are beautiful), and Colorado has no beaches....I'd say we're pretty even

A lot of the people seem to have a thing against Texans...too bad...the folks in the Denver Z Club are outstanding people (and good friends) !!!

Yep, planning on going to the event....but I planned on it last year too, and at the last minute, my job called me in. Hopefully, this won't happen this year

I've got to admit that North Texas is not my favorite part of the state....but as in life....beauty is in the eye of the beholder !
It too has it's qualities.

Ok we are even! If you do get to go are you planning on starting your own Caravan? Or are you going to join one? I would love for you to join my caravan but its way out of your way! Let me check thru the threads and see who will be going out highway 10 and I will hook you up with them!

Hate to try to caravan, due to the questionability of my going at all.
If I get to go, it will probably be a spur-of-the-moment, whirlwind trip.

I've led and been in so many caravans (most of them going to the International Z Car Conventions). It's the absolute best way to travel.
Safety in numbers...you can't beat it !

Thanks for the invite though...
