Thumbs down Driver window problem

Does anyone in DFW area has problem with the driver window sometime it works, sometime not ? I had been to Courtesy Nissan, they tested it for 2 days and could not find anyproblem with it. I told them that the windows does work some time and sometime doesn't. he said: if he couldn't find a probelm, they he couldn't fix it.

Well, the problem happened again today, I drove to Courtesy nissan for them to witness it and they said that they need to test it again, I didn't want to leave my car there for another 2 days and come out with nothing fixed. So, if anyone here has the same problem as mine and and you got it fixed by another dealer please let's me know. I dont know if you guys has a good experience with Courtesy Nissan but not me.

Very common problem on the G35 coupes. Both my passenger and drivers side went out (at different times). Both times the dealership replaced it immediately and without question.

The representative said he believed what I said but the tech. need to test to find out the problem. He said if he changes the motor and the problem still exist then what ? Nissan doesn't pay him to replace the part, nissan pays him to find out what the problem is.
he said it can be the switch, the motor or the regulator.
I called other dealers in DFW area, they said the same thing, so I have no choice beside leaving my car there. Hopefully they are smart enuff to find out the problem ....

moog .. i should buy g35 instead ??

I could not agree more. I have been to Courtsey Nissan twice for service in the last 3 months regarding my car drifting to the right & they have still not resolved the problem. They actually charged me for an alignment this last time and the prob still exists. I took a look at my tires and they areboth worn on the inside (Tire Feathering) (AGAIN)...I now have to go back to them and get my money back and I will never take my car there again. It is a shame because I live almost 5 minutes from that dealership...The service reps are nice, but nice will not fix the problems.

Courtsey Nissan sucks IMO!!!

The dealer gave me NO hassles. In fact, he stated they have more than enough motors available in expectation of this problem. Four hours from drop-off to new.

I had that problem with the passenger side window! Jerry's Nissan just ordered me another window motor and it has been just fine!

Try Don Davis Nissan in Arlington off I-20 & Collins. Talk to service advisor Brandon Wallace.

yeah, it is a common problem. I had my driver side replace once already. and last week, my passenger side went out too, unfortunately my standard warranty just out 2k miles ago. So I got the motor from next door (Nissan PDC) and replace it myself! It was pretty piece of cake, and it work perfect now!! matter fact, I just had it replace tonight

my driver side window is tripped out too. but the thing it does is weird, when the window has been down and roll it up and when you get out and close the door, the window goes down by itself, but only half way, why is that? does the window think its gonna hit the roof or anything, the passenger is fine, it goes a little down and when the door is closed it goes up to seal, but the passenger never does that, its either up or down, and when it wants, it goes down by itself. weird, should i have it checked out?or just never roll my windows down? lol

Same problem here....had it in twice already. First time they couldn't repro, second time they replaced the motor. Guess what.....still jacked up. Sometimes it gets stuck in up/down pos and won't move. Other times when i try to roll it up it stops halfway and then goes back down. When it does that i can hear the servomotor laboring as if its having a tough time. I'm due to go back to get the Blose HU swapped out (cuts out in left front from time to time, they claim its the HU not the AMP...we'll see) gonna have them fix the window a 3rd time and see if thats the "charm" Will update then......grrrr.....
