some additional information:

1.) Despite different opinions on this subject: alcohol is allowed on the beach...but no BOTTLES...so only cans...we will have bottles for the house...and another cooler for cans for the beach. Reminder...we will also have bottled water&sodas for everyone too!

2.) The realty company told me that we can also have a bonfire if we want...limited to 4X4X4...which is pretty damn big! We can pick up logs at the local mart.

3.) The house's driveway will hold about 25 cars, but I would prefer to limit it to 20 cars b/c of the house restrictions...they're kind of picky(for good reason-they don't want rowdy parties) about the size of the party. So, after the 20 cars...the rest can park on the beach...which you can see from the pics...is no big deal.

4.) Also, because of their puny septic systems...we need to try use the public restrooms(about 75yards from the house) more during the party...why? because I want my $500 back! LoL!

5.) We can set up a volleyball net for those inclined.

6.) Sleeping over...the house is made for 15 people to stay over...however I'm not going to sweat a few more that want to stay the night...we've got 12 reserved...so that'll leave about 8 'spaces' open...obviously past the 15 mark...this will require sleeping bags/beds...we are planning on bringing a couple of inflateable beds just in case.

7.) There is a store less then a mile away that has everything you could possibly need...also, there are plenty of ATM's nearby if you need cash as well as several gas stations. There is a donut shop only 1/2 mile away...so donuts on Sunday morning for those staying over...of course we'll have eggs, bacon, coffee, toast as well. Also, Starbucks will be served!

8.) The cruise will be very straightforward...straight down I-45...65mph...they patrol a lot in this stretch, but yesterday did not see any around...and I was being passed at 65! We will go down Broadway to avoid traffic on The Strand to East Beach. East Beach closes at 7pm...a couple of us will leave a little early to get everything ready and get the drinks on ice!

9.) After the ferry, there is a wonderful drive to the house....15 miles of no stop signs, lights, or police...been down there on a busy weekend and during the week...never saw one! The speed limit is 55....but was still being passed!

10.) Obviously, I want to keep things safe & fun...so we don't want to have to YELLOW/RED FLAG(little Beach lingo there!) anyone. I do not want to lose my deposit...nor do we want any unnecessary attention...so be on best behavior!

That's it....all I can say is after being there for 20 minutes....I didn't want to leave!

to be honest with you.. if i could go back and change time i would of gone with a tt.. just because not too ppl have them. also the car is starting to grow on me.. but then again with my size I just don't think I would look right in a TT. hell i might not even look right in my car right now but kiss my **** haha

We do have some guys coming from Dallas...there are two 350Z's from www.350zmotoring.com who are coming down. They posted on my thread if you want to look them up. I also have several 300ZX's coming from the Dallas area...I'll send them a pm...and have them contact you!

We've got Z's coming from Dallas, Austin, San Antonio, Waco, etc. Yeah, this is going to be big everyone...my estimate: about 40 Z's or more...+ 15 to 20 other imports...and 10 sport bikes that are joining us.

Just got back from a 'fun-run' that we have down here every 3 months...basically a good 3 hour autocross drive through the country...Soooo much fun!


We had a friend's 350ZTT out there and another with his 300ZXTT that was just dynoed at 479rwhp! That's at the wheels! He still had some minor timing issues...not to mention that he was just too fast for our group.
