Default Texas will soon not require front plate???

Just thought I'd share some inside info I've gotten. My dad's good friends with a Houston Police Officer, and he told me that there's a bill that might eliminate the need for a front plate coming around. Hopefully it will get passed.

I never understood the reasoning for them. I grew up in PA and that state never required them. I'm now in VA so they are required here. Glad to hear.

are you running a front plate on your rustang? er I mean bustang... (jk)

I still havn't been pulled over yet the only reason I dont run a front plate is b/c I am too lazy to go get that zee braket and install it... it requires a drill which I don't have. I don't think I would mind running a plate b/c I would be less worried when cops are stareing me down but so far it hasn't been a problem so I will just keep on going w/o one.

I hope your right about the plate thing. I haven't been pulled over yet for no plate but in my other car I used to get pulled over everytime I didn't have it on. Guess it is because I don't have mods to make it stand out. I do see all kinds of cars with no plate going down the road all the time. I guess its one of those deals where if they want to pull you over for whatever reason, they will use that excuse to do it.
