DFW: Where did you get your Z?
I've been swapping back and forth between the idea of a Z and an STI...with my new found life (woo I'm single!), I think I'm leaning towards the Z...So I'm just wondering where you picked up your Z, which model, and what price. If anyone can PM me in the right direction of who to talk to or post here for potential buyers, that would be great. I'm looking to buy within a month or two. thanks in advance.
Unless you have a relative or best friend at another dealer, Trophy is absolutely without a doubt the best place to buy. They didn't become the #1 Nissan dealer in the nation by not selling cars.
When I bought in '03, they had 27 Z's on the lot. Average at other dealers was 4. Courtesy Nissan in Richardson had second most in the entire metroplex with only 7.
Negotiated for the car I wanted - see sig - at 3 different dealers in person, called two others. Best I could get from any of the 5 dealers was $500 off sticker...until I went to Trophy. Got $2,500 off sticker and the exact car I wanted. At that time, that kind of discount was unheard of.
After you buy though, don't go back. Their service department is horrible.
Hope that helps.

Got mine at Trophy as well, the only complaint I had was over agressive follow up. My salesman called me two or three times a week for a month after I bought it to see if I was still happy. I'm like dude it's a Z of course I am still happy, leave me alone.
