My step dad is struggling to find a job here in austin. He has tons of management and other experience but he cannot seem to find any openings for what he is looking for. Any of your guys know any companies or have any connects. He is mostly into sales and marketing. He previously worked as an area manager for QC financial and loved it, but s*it happens and he got laid off. If anyone knows of anything open please let me know. Thanks guys!

 

I was offered a job from best buy management in Cedar Park for a new location they are opening up. Told the guy to **** off bc he offered it to me acting like he was doing me a favor at my own job but it could be worth looking into.

no news, i rarely see my boss unless he needs to tell me something. Hes a busy guy.

 

Best Buy (especially management) is not worth it. Most managers there last 3-5 months and then get dicked over by the company in one way or another. If your dad is looking for a quick fix for financial purposes...then its a good one, otherwise in the long run it'll be almost detrimental to his health to stick around that kind of retail environment.
