Default DVD Navigation disc v6.4 anyone?

I'm looking to see if anyone has the 6.4 version disc that has recently come out. The absurd $190 Zinrin wants is not going to happen. If anyone can make a copy, or let me make a copy of yours, let me know.

For that matter, if nobody has it and some folks want to go in on one and split the cost, and make ourselves copies, I'm up for that too.

cheap bastages!

I'll be ordering the update for my '03 in about a week. Figured I'd replace it every 3 or 4 years and since I'm getting a fat Xmas bonus this paycheck, it seemed the right time to do it.

I find it hard to justify $190 for a disc when roads are constantly changing in TX, and then there is no guarantee of how up to date our particular region is. They piece their data together from various collection times, so some of the data might be really recent, a couple of months old maybe, whereas there could be stuff that is years old still in there potentially.

Will it work in a 2005 G35 nav?

If so... I'm up for it. Keep in touch (pm)...

I am looking for a copy as well, I firgured you could make them but wasnt sure, has anyone tried with positive results? I have a dvd burner. It would be great if everyone pitched in on one off course who ever got the original would throw in something extra b/c you can turn around and sell it for almost as much as you paid, look it up on e-bay. I am not paying that much for a plastic disc ever!

I agree... this is why I waited 3+ yrs to purchase my first update.

Don't know... if you purchase from Zenrin direct, the Nissan software has a product code of v6.4N. The Infiniti software is v6.4I. Real difference or clever marketing ploy???

I think that's only if you want to upgrade from the original (03-05) Nav software to '06 version.

My NAV update has been ordered for about a week. Zenrin says they are on a 4 week backorder. I'll update everyone when I have the disk in hand.
