In Texas are they really **** about the front plate? Is it ok to have the front plate in the front windshield?if it isn't and they're **** what is the fine likely to be? Because I'm not gonna drill holes in my mastergrade front end this si in El Paso btw. if that even matters.

 

i dont have one...never have had one...and never had a cop mention the plate...

 

I got a ticket from Plano, TX for not having a front plate.

That was the very 1st time.

 

I've never had a front plate on any of my cars, nor do my folks.
Front plates are evil, and they make cars look ugly

 

dont worry about it if u get a ticket just put tape on ur bumper, take a picture with the front plate on it, show that in the court room, then that **** is dismissed and you dont have to pay a dime.

 

glad to hear they aren't to picky about it and yea good point about taping the plate on...A lot of judges dismiss stuff if you get it taken care of. Last time i was in court a few people who were driving without or with a suspended license walked away without paying anything because they got their license.
