I was wondering if anyone knows some good Austin roads to ride on, tight curvy roads preferred, over straight shots. If you haven't been on limecreek then you all should give that a ride, follows the river, 10-30mph turns great G's good conditions.
Have fun out there, ohyeah, I just moved to Austin, why the hell are the roads so slick I am fishtailing left and right here and I got brand new tires, I have no problem in Dallas or Houston taking off.
later, and if anyone knows of racing meets or events in Austin holla at me.
peace,
snow
Welcome to Austin. There are alot of nice drives just to the west in the Hill Country. You should join us at Capital Z of Texas. Meet last monday of each month and various other drives and events throughout the month.
You can take FM12 from Dripping Springs to Wimberly. I used to live out in Dripping Springs and used to take this scenic road to get to San Marcos. Wimberly is a quaint town and you'll like driving through it. You can take FM12 all the way to San Marcos and it will take you back out to IH35 from there.
Have fun. (btw, you can catch FM12 from Hwy 290 West).
anyone wanna go with me tonight to the races. around 11 near slaughter ln. call me 210...2..1..5..75...4..4, phil. call around 10 if anyone wants to meet or caravan out there.
what about 2222? or uh, around that lake travis area?
2222 is OK. It was a lot more fun before they turned it into a 4 lane highway. Can't drive too fast around there though b/c there is just too much traffic going to and from Lake Travis now.
As always, watch out for the cops on 2222, there are way too many of them now...
I thought I received an email that said the Texas RXs drive was cancelled this weekend. I am not sure, anyone know. Or maybe it was last weekend because of SuperBowl.
