Default Tom Peacock Nissan Is Terrible

I called Tom Peacock Nissan, of Houston, on Friday to schedule an appointment on March the 20th for the 350Z Fuel Hose Recall. They put my name down and told me to come on Monday. After arranging a ride home with my cousin, we went to drop my car off at the dealership for the recall. As soon as I got there the service manager told me that the parts have not arrived yet, and I should call back in two weeks. We made a trip for nothing. I have had questionable experiences with Nissan Service before and today just reaffirmed it. If this continues, I will not buy another Nissan and will tell others as well.

anyone ever get the follow-up survey call? I used to be a porter at ford a long time ago. the service reps got weekly reports on customer service satisfaction. these reports determined wether the shop was certified in some special way. it really mattered. give your cell # instead of a home # to make sure you fet these calls.

I filed a complaint via nissan's website. I got a phone call from NNA and the representive was friendly. He talked to me about what happened and he said they will forward a copy of my letter to Tom Peacock.

Well, I was awoken by a phone call this morning. It was Tom Peacock, and they said I could bring my car in tomorrow for the fuel hose. The man was friendly about it. I would have had to wait two more weeks if I didn't complain.

The power of complaint. It works.

Glad to see every worked out for you. I'm gonna see how much that hose kit cost. I'll probably drop the suspension and install it myself.

From the MANY reports that I get from members of the Z Club of Houston, Sterling McCall has been the most reliable and dependable that I've found...but like every other dealership in the world, they are in a constant state of turmoil and personnel turnover.

One place that have proven to be fairly reliable (none of them are 100%) is Mossy Nissan...but you have to contact Bennie Bynum !!!
He's one of the service writers there. He's also a member of the Z Club of Houston, and a Z Owner. A very cool dude ! Very helpful and a no B.S. kind of guy. If you call him, tell him that Z Car Dave says "Hi".
He's taken care of me on more than one or two occassions !
He knows which of their mechanics are the most "Z friendly"
