this meet was probably my favorite one.. lots of cool people here.. lookin forward to having another one soon.. 2 weeks from now i guess..

Awesome meet fellas! Tons of fun. This is probably the most time I've spent at a meet that wasn't a dedicated cruise. Can't wait for the next one!

IdeaPimp: What was the name of that shop you mentioned which does the interior gauges/paneling, etc? I want to call them on Monday.

Yea, that would actually be a good idea.. I think it was you that mentioned having like 3 main people that knew exactly where to go - front, middle, and back of the whole pack - so nobody would get lost.

 

Some of us used Talkabouts in Cali.

In fact I have 2 but they are still in cali..

 

Great meet. I might post a few pictures as well, but not until later tonight. I can say that my wife wasn't happy that I got home at 11:30pm last night

Oh well, but we should be doing these things every two weeks now. Great turnout...lots of NEW faces........awesome!

Tin Star was where we had a meet on 3/11/2006. Here is a link to my pictures from that meet and another meet that day in Mesquite.

I prefer meets that are farther north and away from major intersections that usually have a lot of traffic. Tin Star was a good location, but you can't really see the cars from the road, but it was still a really good location.

Yeah, I definitely agree on having the next meet further up North. But, I don't think Tin Star's a good idea. I would suggest Frisco, but too much construction. I think somewhere in Allen (Allen Outlet?), Plano (Willow Bend Mall?), or Richardson (Collin Creek Mall?) is better for next time.



So, is everybody OK with having another meet 2 weeks from now?

I agree on having the meet somewhere new, but not another mall parking lot where we'll get run off by a she-male security guard. The whole reason we were at Tin Star that day is because Willowbend ran us off. Allen Outlet Mall is insanely busy during the weekend as well.

There are tons of places at Park & Preston, and tons of places to eat as well. I think somewhere at Park & Preston would be good next time.
