Forgive me if this has been addressed before but i just got my Z a couple weeks ago and Im noticing a whining noise when im in 6th gear going around 80-85mph around 3000-3300rpm.....nothing too bad im worried about just wondering if anyone has encountered a similar noise or whats causing it

thats a normal sound...

 

just so you know the z has lots of noises. This is just the first of many you will notice. Get a aftermarket exhaust, that should drown all that out.

I can't hear the whine (I guess) for the tire/concrete interface roaring in my ears. Asphalt is quieter. Maybe I could hear it then and get all bent. Are you sure your gf/wife isn't in the car with you when this happens.

BTW, I don't know if you've noticed or not, but I LOVE these icons.
