Just wanting to know what places to go in Austin that will pass you if you're not quite perfectly legal. Like as far as tint that is too dark, or different colored headlight bulbs, stuff like that. The only place I've heard of so far is the Sticker Shoppe on S. Congress, and that is waaayy far away, not to mention awesome traffic. Btw, it's real dark headlight/taillight overlays I'm tryin to get passed. Any help would be greatly appreciated!! TIA

 

the overlays wont matter. i think only problem would be if you had and CEL or SES lights like I do. lol. have we met?

 

oh i thought you lived in san marcos...done any news mods to your car? i got my single exhaust for sale if interested.

 

phil- I wrote in the other thread that I'm the other guy w/the black 350. we've gone to 1431 and the z meets before. the march z meet we were talking about your....turbo or some part that broke but that you were getting fixed...some turbonetics part or something. but yeah anyway, it is illegal to have any sort of overlay or anything over headlights or taillights. I knew it I'm just tryin to find someone I can pay to let me keep em haha, and holy crap man, you're buyin and sellin so much stuff for your z you could open a shop! lol btw, let me know how your car is runnin now

 

yeah im getting a new bod kit and exhaust so out with the old and in with the new. the turbo is awesome. love it everyday. i decided to cut out my grill to show off the IC more. lol... just asking for attention i guess. anyway the car will be looking stock for a good month or 2 but be ready in the fall or mid july i hope. let me know where you get your inspection cuz i think i need one soon and i got the dang SES light that wont go away.
