Houston is currently going through a spike in crime due in part to an influx of refugees from New Orleans into the city following Hurricane Katrina. Plus, it is the fourth largest city in terms of population so it is more likely going to have a higher % of crime. Then again if you do get shot, Houston boasts one of the bests medical/healthcare systems in the world! Seriously though, we do not need your pity so please

STFU, dude. What the hell are you doing in a Houston thread anyhow? If you live in the ghetto, you live in the ghetto. It doesn't matter what city. The most devastating thing that happened in my neighborhood was the homeowner's association writing me a letter saying I left my trash can out on a day that wasn't a trash day. Oh oh, and one time, someone's dog took a crap in my yard and they didn't have the decency to scoop it up. I had to wait for my yard people to come do it.
