Question: who would you guys recommend for 2 different issues. 1) my rear brakes started making grinding sounds recently after 2 years of installation. The pads are the good and recommended ones from stoptech reps.
2) it seems one of my rear brake calipers got some Blake fluid on it and the paint came off of it.

who would guys suggest for the paint of the caliper and the brake job itself? 2 different shops? Or would you guys recommend just one shop and who??

Sounds like you need to removed the caliber and have them powder coated.

What's up stogey? Yeah I have posted in quite sometime, I really didn't think my account would still be active. I have been preoccupied with some many other things in life.

hmmm...i appreciate the info, I discussed the issue with a friend last night, does Houston have a single shop where I can get it all done at once? Fixed, powdercoated, and installed??

Precision Powder Coatings in Spring. I've used them and will use them again.

Sup, Houston. Where do you get your lowered Z aligned. I need to get my Z aligned and it's lowered a lot. I'm on a true coil over set up and have the original toe adjustments. (spring bucket)

I just moved to Houston this week and my synchro for my 3rd gear has gone out. Anyone know of reputable transmission shops around here?

I spoke to Baker Nissan yesterday and to fix just the 3rd gear synchro I'm looking at 1100. If anyone knows of some good alternatives I would really appreciate it.

Thanks

I know you have talked to Baker Jackson already but try calling Clear Lake Nissan and talk to Clint - master tech.

Not sure what part of Houston you're at but Clear Lake is about 30 mins south of downtown FYI, so that maybe a deal breaker for ya.

Thinking about getting my Z to CLN to get an engine tune up.

Last time I thought I needed a new clutch and fw but it turns out my slave was going out. Awesome for catching things like that and not try to upsell me. So whenever the OEM clutch gets a bit weaker I'm going to have them fully service the car!
