dude...this is what baseball is all about. I love my freaking stros yet its killing me to watch these games knowing that we coudl win every single $%#$^ one and still not make the playoffs. I will officially become a brewers fan these next few days and i hope they deal with the cardinals like they do there beer.....by wasting them. (if those idiots dont walk pujols everytime he comes up to bat i will self-implode...speakign of which..wtf did bochy choose to pitch to the Lidgecrusher...walk his *** and make the other bums try to beat you

(calming down) ...ok, with that said we never have any luck vs atlanta but with our top three aces going and a little luck for the last game we should be able to pull this off. (if that blockhead purpura would have made a trade for a bat we wouldn't of had to have been in such dire straights) . Now we jsut need the rebirds to fly south and for pujols to pull a hamstring

I feel your pain. Pujols needs to go down, I hate that guy. He broke Brad Lidge. Since Pujols hit that homerun off of him last postseason, you know which one i am talking about, Lidge has not been the same.

i think lidge has reaccuring nightmares of pujols pissing on that fastball he served up a year ago. He probably wakes up in the middle of the night in a dead sweat yelling "No, im not scared of fat albert!!!" i really think that home run scarred him for life. he will never be the same

He needs to face Pujols again and put his **** down! If he can do that, he will be "Light Out Lidge" Again, not the "Lets Lose Lidge" that he currently is.

I wish it were that easy, lol. I know for a fact that he just need to be pushed through this "rough spot" but he seems like he just doesnt have the mindset to take the next step. You can see it in his eyes when he is out there on the mound, he is unsure of himself now. Confidence is key for him. He is still young, he has time to grow, but we sure could use his real tallent now!

i will give him one more year to straighten thigns out, if he doesn't clean up his act by next year..i will lose complete trust. Hell, when he comes in these days i keep one eye closed because im scared of what could happen. On the brighter siade, how about that sampson kid huh. he looks like he could be the real deal!

No joke, I have been really happy with a lot of the new faces on the team. I am kinda upset that that they let P. Willey go (Preston Wilson). He sure could have been an asset. Did he leave of did we let him go, i am not too clear on that.

we let him go. The reason being is we picked up P.Dub to provide power but all he did was hit single after single. I know hes doiing ok for st louis but in our system we have all the streaky single hitters we need. I dont know why that bafoon purpura picked up P.Dub thinkign he was gonan come here and blast 30 home runs(he did that in colorado-hell my dog could hit 30 homers in that thin *** air) when we could have picked up a carlos lee or miguel tejeda(praying for one of them next year).

Yeah, I agree. Don't start looking toward next season just yet. We are winning (today) as of last time i checked stats. Lets just hope that Cardinals choke tonight! Faith bro, faith.

If we use Pettitte or Oswalt....we're in the playoffs....we use anyone else, we're toast. Braves can hit the Rocket, so that's out. Dunno about the rookie pitchers....Guess we'll see.

Hey, I can get in on this action! LOL!

I agree that Lidge USED to be a good closer. Why they let Wagner go, I will never know. He is a true closer! A lefty that throws 90+, what more can you ask for?

As for Pujols, that fool needs to quit juicing! I've seen games where he barely got the ball past the pitcher the first 3 at bats and then somehow comes out and rocks one out of the stadium. Am I the only one that finds that odd?

And I will yell this to the day I die: Berkman is NOT an outfielder! Put the man at first and let him throw up MVP numbers. Putting him in the outfield is just asking for him to get hurt.

With all of that said...Go Stros!

i never said i lsot faith in the season. Just wanting for us to succeed in every single season that we can!!!

For Old School, we are pitching those 2 guysthe next 3 games so your wish is my commaand! ha. (the braves may hit the rocket but we got fate on our side)

For Trubluz. We let wagner go because lidge threw 95 plus, also had a better off speed pitch than wagner(that killer slider) but what we did not see was that lidge can have his heart broken deeming him useless. Also, i dont think pujols jjuiced but i don't think hes only 26, that dude has got to be pushing 34. And yes, berkman belongs at first and i think garner is starting to feel the same way because hes been playing him there lately but we all know garner and his daarn micro-managing will surely step in the way of common sense.

OK, Berman does belong at first, but he doesnt do bad outfield either. I have seen him make some damn good plays on the outfield.

As far as pitching is concerned, we have a good pitching staff, but i dont think that it is what it was last seadson. The Rocket is starting to show his age, but at the same time the moral that he bring to the team is awesome.
