If the color is too bright for you, or too flashy, I would suggest maybe going with a two-tone look to downplay it somewhat. I'm sure there are ways to make it work to your liking.

i have a yellow z too and i love the color....you don't like it?

something as simple as new rims really changes the cars looks. I just put on some gunmetal volk challenges and the car looks 10 times better. I have a thread in the picture share section on it.

I painted my last car another color, and that was the worst thing I couldn've done. It killed the resale of the car. The future owner(s) wont have a paint code if it's damaged. I know I'd never do it again.

You Bastard, I sooo wanted a yellow Z and cound not find one anywhere and now you dont want it? Well, I would definantly do it but mine is a Redline 03 with 38k miles, and i just recently bought it 4 months ago. I would do it in a heartbeat but there would be so much paperwork and refinancing that i dont think it would be worth it for either party.

I definately think black and yellow two-tone can be pulled off well...if done appropriately.

Case in point:

Don't repaint it....like they said it will kill the resale. Future buyers will think it was wrecked or something. I think trading Z's is probably the only way out.

I thought yellow was my least favorite color on the Z, until I saw one with wheels on it. I was impressed after that and changed my mind. And I even used to own a yellow car.

The best thing about yellow is that it is a SAFE color. Other cars will know where you are (like in their blind spots, etc) even if they're not checking their mirrors like they should be.
