well.. each key is supposed to be slightly different, hence the theft deterrent. im gonna give a few places a shot, just wondering if anyone knows a place locally that can do it for sure, so i dont have to waste time.

Each NISSAN dealer has a master set of KEYS.

In many cases the locks can be removed on the service drive while you wait.

I have a special set of sockets that are made to remove rounded off and stripped bolt heads.. I might be able to help Benny. Give me a call.

theres an old trick, but it involves some hammering...

take a regular 12pt socket that is jsut a bit smaller than the lock, and just hammer it until it goes over the nut, then you can try to remove it...

of course, you can try to order one from the company that makes the lock and have them overnight it or something

If you have Craftsman Sockets, they are best for this cause you replace the socket after you get the lock off. Find a socket that is just a little smaller in diamiater than the lock and bang it over the lock. Then take a socket wrench and twist it off. It works better if you have an impact gun, but the wrench and socket work fine. You will not damage you rim but you need to be careful whuile baging it over the lock as not to hit your rim. I do it at my shop all the time, it is very easy to do..

Anything that has to do with hammering even near a "Z" is crazy.

Just take it to the professionals. If they can't get it off relatively easy,
then you might want to try another shop.

A tire and wheel place should know how to remove one. If they don't then
I would wonder about their quality of workmanship in general.

just my 2 cents.
