Saturday, March 22nd - ZSport 2003 Z Car Show

Come show off the results of all the hard work on your car at San Antonio's ZSport club car show this Saturday! They will host this event at World Car Nissan in San Antonio. Check In and Late Registration is from 10:00am - 11:00am. Judging begins at 12 Noon sharp! For more information, go to the CZOT website or the ZSport website . Lastly, for those of you wanting to caravan down to San Antonio from Austin, we will meet at the Academy parking lot on I-35 South and William Cannon at 9:00am. We will leave promptly at 9:20am as a group and head on down to World Nissan. Please make sure you have gas and other necessities as we will not make any stops.


Sunday, March 23rd - Capital Z of Texas RPM Indoor Raceway Challenge

Who's ready to go really fast around "da track wit da fellas, and da gals" of course! Come on out to Round Rock's RPM Indoor Raceway and get ready for a challenge...a racing challenge! Please arrive no later than 1:30pm to check in and get ready to race. Trophies will be awarded to the winners! For more info, please go to the CZOT website . Please let us know if you plan on attending this event in order for us to get an accurate head count.

 

I wish someone had posted something about rain. Shows rain all day in Austin and San Antonio. Seems like a waste to have a car show in the rain. Anyone still going to this? Wish I had seen it was raining before I got up and ready, sure everyone who is going has left the house already.

 

Sure it rained here in the morning and on the drive down, but the rain had stopped when we got there. They let us all use the car wash in the back of the dealership to rinse our cars off also.

It was a good day. Everyone from Austin came back with a trophy. In the 350Z class there were only two entries so if you would have come, you were gauranteed to take home a trophy.

Really though, although rain does hamper a car show, it hasent stopped them from happening. The last three Texas Z shows all got some rain.

If you're not doing anything tomorrow, come out to RPM Indoor raceway for a little friendly competition.

 

Dang, wish I could make the RPM race, as it sounds like a lot of fun...but I'm doing my first motocross race tomorrow!

 

I tried to search around the Cap of TX Z site to find out what that was. What is that indoor raceway exactly? Is it like a kart track or something?

 

I am surprised I have never heard of this. I checked out the RPM IR website, man they are expensive! So do I have to be a member of Cap of Z club? I will join I'm sure, just that I haven't been to a meeting yet (just got my 350z a little over a week ago in fact).

I guess I'll see you all there. Also, is it OK to bring a friend? What fees are involved?

I'll be bringing a digital camera and digital camcorder too, so hopefully my friend and I can get some good shots and footage.

 

Anything going on the week of Feb. 20-25? The wife and I will be down in San Antonio on vacation.
