Question Good Dallas body shops ? Aftermarket

Anyone know of a good body shop in the DFW area that does aftermarket bodykits? I'm having the hardest time finding one...they're either lame or they don't do custom aftermarket kits, which ummm ...makes them lame, too!

Just curious...can you tell us what kind of price and installation they did for you? I'm looking to put on some skirts and spoiler very soon.

I had good luck with Jon's Paint & body in Wylie (FM544 just west of hiway 78)

They weren't real fast but did a great job on my front bumper, speaker box and rear skirt.

I was completely happy with the work that the Hack Shack in Garland has done. Installed vertical door kit and reworked the body kit another shop did half a$$ed.

Take it to New Concepts Autowerks in East Plano, They do awesome work, jsut got my Z fixed from a fender bender there, and they do custom work.

Bad *** guys. Ask for Bruce or Thomas, and tell them Jeremy from Premier Auto tint sent you and they should hook you up.

They do dlr work for porsche, ferrari, Lamborghini of dallas. etc....

Yeah, already went there ... Bruce is cool, but Thomas is a bit too cocky, if you know what I mean. Unfortunately, Thomas is the one whose there most of the time. There is no doubt that they do a great job fixing and replacing OEM parts, but as far as aftermarket bodykits are concerned, those guys don't seem very enthusiastic about taking on a job of such. Thanks though. Maybe I'll give it another try.

For side skirts and spoiler, you'll be looking at around $250 - $400 each for paint and install ... depending on the quality of the pieces. If you're getting any sort of replica, you'll probably have to go to a body shop that does custom work, and they seem to be difficult to find now-a-days. All the shops are leaning away from bodykits now, because of the bad pieces they had in the past, which is lame ... they should inspect the pieces first and then make their decision. They're just not up to the challenge and take the easy way out.

How long did it take for your front bumper? And was it aftermarket or OEM? Cost? Wylie is a bit of a drive for me, but it may be worth it.
