Default 5AT rear diff for 6MT rear diff

I have a 05 ENTH. 5AT and was wondering if anyone wanted to trade their 6MT rear diff with me. I don't want the base model one since it doesn't have the VLSD so basically enth and up. I am in Dallas/Plano area for break until mid January and then I will be going back to austin so prefer people from these locations.

Isn't there a lot more involved than just switching the diff.

It's a straight swap. I just swapped my 3.3 FD for a 3.5 FD recently. The whole pumpkin is almost 100 lbs. so it's not an easy swap. I had a local shop do the swap for me . . . it's easier to do it on a lift instead of just jacking up your Z.

Where did you end up getting the 3.5 pumpkin? I've been trying to source out a place/person to just buy one, but haven't been able to.

Call Jim @ Turbo Toys in Tampa FL. His phone # is 813-695-6664. I paid $525 shipped for a 3.5 FD full pumpkin several months ago. If you have an A/T, installing the 3.5 FD makes a huge difference on the track or autocross. You lose a bit at the top end (who cares, how often do you hit 160 mph anyway?) but gain RPMs in each gear, which gives you quicker acceleration coming out of curves or corners.

Nice, thanks a lot! $525 is a bit pricey but I guess its supply and demand. I'll give him a call.
