I'm gonna try to touch on some things that stuck out from all the new posts since my last one...

ya. these are invoice prices for the 06 models which should be the same for 07.

that may not be what they have at the sticker at don davis but they can sell it for that price or LESS if they want to. it's all a big long negotiation especially if u dont agree to pay what they have listed on the car u choose. my advice is to start early in the morning so u can get out by the afternoon if ur trying to get the very best deal.

i think since he's new he's just worried he won't be able to get u the best deal and obviously took that one guys post very literally that he got into an argument with. personally i saw what he was trying to say by saying he would drive 5 hours and all that. he was trying to help out a fellow z fan/ owner out by driving OUT OF HIS WAY to give u the commission/ sale if u gave him a good deal.

and as stated the dealership still makes money at 'invoice'. if u don't think u can do it that's fine but he can go somewhere near him like u urged him to do lol and someone will bite.

doesn't matter to me - just trying to help both parties.

also many 350z owners/ buyers are in a different age bracket and income bracket so they don't care if they pay more and might just pay the sticker price. some people dont like haggling idk - if ur happy with ur purchase and ur 350z and u think u got a good deal nothing else matters does it?

Okay guys...Here is the situation...I don't want to keep on getting in these stupid little arguements with folks about getting invoice price,etc....I talked to my manager today and he told me that he can't do any invoice price on a 2007 Z yet, especially since they aren't even out yet...But he said that he could do some pretty good deals on a 2006. He said that he would be able to do about $200 over invoice price, so that is a pretty good deal on a 2006 Z with about 150 miles on it. Currently they ownly have convertible Z's....So if anyone is interested in a 2006 Z then we can work something out...I obviously can't just do business over the internet...If you are serious about buying come in the dealership, pick out a Z that you like, lets find out what your looking to spend (around invoice) and lets make it work.

I originally posted this thread because I was letting people know that I was in the business now and if your interested in a car then let me know...And I could care less if people try to low ball me in price, that is the nature of the business...I just didn't like that not even a couple of days after me posting this thread people were already asking me for a huge discount...I said time and time again that I didn't think it could happen but I would try and see what I could do and talk to my manager...Which I did and got results, like I said...

So I just want to look past all of this dumb talk that we have been doing back and forth...

Yeah congrats on the pathfinder...I didn't get to see what color or package you got...It was sad to think you got rid of the Z but I guess if you have to "grow up" and get a listen to what your momma says then I guess you don't have a choice...lol...

Congrats and good luck with your Pathfinder...

I have a friend that would sell over 30 cars a month and sure he would rape a customer from time to time, but overall he would sell for volume.

He was very well off financially and had all the toys. He was also very
well known and well respected receiving numerous awards for top sales.

He always used to tell me that volume selling is the way to do well in the
car sales business and obviously he wasn't lying due to his success.

Just a little advice I wanted to pass on to you. Good Luck! and remember
it takes time to build up clientele and word of mouth will be your bread and
butter.

I believe that's call pushing metal. One of my good friends in Austin is an Infiniti salesman. To the poster looking for an Infiniti, I can point you in his direction if you'd like.

just wanted to bump up this thread and still let everyone know that we are offering some great deals on all of our 2007 Nissan products and offering great rebates and prices on the remaining 2006 models...

We only have 6 brand new 2006 Z's, but they are all convertible tops...We do have 3 used Z's....We have a 2006 Gunmetal color Z with 2k miles on it and selling it for $29k, it has orange leather seats, chrome rims, etc. The other Z is a 2005 Silver Z, automatic, white frost leather seats, 12k miles, etc...The selling price on it is $23k...And the other is a 2006 convertible, white with blue top...I don't know the exact info on this particular model but I think it is around $30kish...If any of these interest anyone let me know...We can work out a great deal for you!!!!
