I'd love to get a video of running an S but I'd be lucky enough to run one period.

I think they're scared

You contiously say that the S2000's ran better times than the Z's. What about me? I don't recall a single car from our group coming anywhere near my trap or ET.

BTW, next time I see you, we'll see which car's faster - S2000 or the Z. I'll even give you the jump.

I'll say that there was no margin for error when I ran the S2k from a roll considering I gave him the jump and started reeling him in immediately.

The only possible chance it could have been an error was if he doesn't know how to press the pedal all the way day

I like the S2K mostly cause the motor. The F22C comes with forged internals from the factory and can hold a consideral amount of boost. The inline pro guys are making 400-500whp on stock internals with no problems.

You also ran consistantly better times than any other Z so you obviously are a much better driver than most and your Z may be one of those freaks.

Still so besides you they kept getting beat. Which proves that they are at least as fast if not faster in the 1/4

I've seen some crappy Z drivers yet the vast majority in Louisiana I've seen run 13s. A ton of them being bone stock.

Fastest S2k I've seen in the 1/4 ran a 14.5 with a mid 90s trap.

I'd say both cars are great. I on the other hand traded in my 2002 GPW S2000 for an 06mb 350z cause of looks and torque. For some reason i think the s2k is more of a chicks car but then again thats my opinion. I do miss the S and wish i could have both. But i went and got a Z. Zs are great cars. Both are great if you fix it up right. Good luck dude !

considering that was my first time at the drag with a rwd car and I did 13.84 says alot about the Z. I spun the tires bad on that launch and the s2000 only beat me by a tenth and that was crapy 14.4 pass. I know you enjoyed it but that does not mean that all day they were faster.

s2000 = tin can 350z = Keg

But for a car with 60+hp that everyone says is so superior it ran better times.

A tenth or not is still faster.

I don't get why no one wants to admit that whether or not you like the S its in the same league as the Z, is more of a raw sports car by far, is rarer and its not even meant to be a drag car.

Not to mention on an auto-x course it will destroy a Z.

I still love the ones who say its a chick car. Well I guess it is since chics love it and its only offered in a 6sp, has no snivel equipment and is produced in limited numbers.

So yes it is a chicks car. Sadly for such a manly car that the Z is it has the same options as any other sedan

Also I've never met anyone who has owned both who didn't have an easier time pulling good times in the Z since its easy to drive fast compared to the S.

Combat, you're just beating a dead horse. I've driven the S countless times and each time, though I was thoroughly impressed, I felt it always lacked some oomph.

Trust me on this, stock for stock, the Z will win in a straight line. The difference will only become larger as the Z has better aerodynamics and more power to continue accelerating. On the track, however, the S will outhandle the Z.

BTW, will you QUIT SAYING THE S BEAT ALL OTHER Zs!?!??! I RAPED THE S2000's sideways, upside down, and backwards the whole day!!!!!

edit-
So are you going to prove to me that the S is faster by racing me on the track?

Yes you FELT it lacked oomph but the fact is it doesn't.

You can say trust me all you want but the fact that they ran better than any other Z besides yourself is proof they are just as fast or faster.

You also beat every other Z by a substatial margin so saying you beat them is nothing. I already addressed that you beat them because you are obviously a better driver than most.

Fact is whether anyone wants to believe it or not the S ran better times than all the other Zs.

Last I checked the best time you had was like what 13.5. I saw and S run 13.6 or 7's as well so I wouldn't call a tenth raping.

I love the way the s2k looks without me in it.

The 350Z is a big boy car, and I just dont fit into the S2K. I like them both but I much rather prefer the GT car to a Sport Compact.

I have raced quite a few s2ks, both from a dig and a roll and had no problem pulling them. Hell my 00 prelude with an intake and vafc with lowered vtec xover (no tuning) only lost by a car or two to an s and I walk all over ludes too. I know for a fact when the s came out the 4 or 5 honda dealers I went to looking for my prelude couldn't sell the s to save their life. They were giving HUGE deals just to get the s out the door. The pissed of miata is a nice car no doubt, but I like torque for daily driving....I don't like having to rev my car up to 6k to get it moving.

Why did the hell did the OP join a 350Z forum just to tell us he's about to get a S2K? Do you want us to pat you on the head or something? Give you e-cookies? Clearly you've already made up your mind about it, so why ask for our opinions?

OF COURSE WE LIKE Z's MORE. THIS IS CALLED A 350Z FORUM.

Get your S2K already and join s2ki.com already . . . . . . . I am not hating on you but what do you expect us to do for you?
