A friend's parents are going to be in the College Station area and probably Houston. Can someone suggest some activities/ things to do in that immediate area ? They are two older women (in their 50's)...

theres the museum district, clubs in DT..lol lots of stuff.. nasa space center

You said tourist to college station...uhm dont let them go there just stay in houston.

 

If they like antiques, go to the Round Top/Warrenton area, closer than Houston. It's a huge twice-a-year antique show with vendors and buyers from all over the U.S. and beyond. And besides, there are hills and twisties!

there isn't anything in college station for them... its what the name implies, college

 

yea thats what i told them.. they went to visit a newphew who goes to school there... so ...

 

smart man right here. opening day is on monday but youd have to ebay tickets.
