Just guaging interest, here guys. Freebirds isn't in the general area we usually meet up, but it'd be SO worth the trip! (Scott and I will vouch for the food. ) I went there this weekend for it's grand opening and parking isn't too shabby.

Let me know what y'all think and I'll put something together.

Man I only live about 3 blocks from there, so I'm definitely in. I haven't been to one of our meets since November, so it's about time I show up!

As for parking, we're gonna have to try and do it at an off-peak time. I went there for lunch last Sunday at about 2, and there was absolutely 0 parking spaces anywhere close to Freebirds.

 

You think 3:30 will be off peak enough? It's still pretty new and all the Aggies have at least heard about it--I kinda doubt there will be a time when the place is empty.

 

Yeah I guess it really doesn't matter, we won't be able to line up our Z's together at Old Town. There's just too many shops and restaurants, and not enough parking. There does seem to be more spaces in the back and sides we could try. But out front of Freebirds just isn't going to happen on a weekend. I'll scope it out this weekend and get a feel for where we could park and what time.

Yeah, 3:30pm sounds better. There is usually parking in the very back of the parking lot.

 

I am down, that is the one thing I miss from Austin.... the best burritos in the world.

There is another meet on the 26th though. It is a Nissan meet, setup by DNE. I would encourage all to check it out. There should be at least 40-50 various Nissan's there.

I will try to make both.
