First of all there is no plenum yet for the dual throttle bodies, second there isnt enuff time yet for someone to convert the current twins to work with the new engine. third there is only one air intake for the 07 which is the stillen with the fujita coming out in the near future i think july.

oh ya for the exhaust I think they have dual exhaust systems out but i think the headers and stuff are different where it bolts up so i dont know if itll work yet. 07 need more time and its been dynod that the 03-06 range from 220-230 something while the 07 range from 250-265 around.

I don't know anything about the rs-r yet but I'm assuming you could figure out some way of doing it. Yes the 07 are a good thing. It's overall a better engine in all aspects. Just get the 07 and when research comes around they will make stuff for the hr engine. I can see a lot of support due to the fact the they have set up an entire factory to produce hr engines and simple modifications can be made to work with both the new vq37hr and the vq35hr cept that the vq37hr have infinite timing something instead of throttle bodies.

It's just a matter of time before people start making parts for the 07. they just have to work around the new throttle body and the 07 ECU was JUST CRACKED in japan so chill out. Takes a bit of time. If you get the older models itll still be a thrill but since the engine was a bit different and the gains were like atleast 20+ whp i chose to get my 07. It depends on what you want but if your looking to just modify like crazy on a brand new engine then youll just have to take a number and wait. As for 60 days why dont you just wait till it comes into the store because then you can negotiate more on the basis of demand. If they know your coming in wanting to wait around for a new z they will not budge that much on price while if they have a car on the lot sitting there eating up expense then they will more than likely want to push that vehicle asap. food for thought.

just get an 07 and wait for the parts to come, they surely will. The 370 is a rumor at this point, redesign in 09 seems to be the consensus., but no way I could wait that long.

09 is not a rumor. It will be a completely redesigned car.
Have a close friend of mine who has close ties to Nissan & Nismo in Japan. Who is a close friend with the Chief Design Manager for the Z & GTR projects. I have met the man personally myself.
All I can tell you is buy your 07 or 08 Z and be sorry that you did in 09'
