Default Dallas tuning

Need to get my Vortech w/ Split Second box tuned. Looking at either T1, Jotech, or Alamo. Has anyone gotten their FI'd cars tuned at any of these places? NOT going to Matchless or Intercrew.

If you go with an eManage or Unichip you can go to Jotech, but I've never been tuned by them so I would look for more feedback of course. Also you should open yourself up to the Houston area. Only a road-trip away, and there are some reputable tuners down there and amongst them you can probably find someone who tunes using the management system of your choice.

Yeah SGP is an option, but if I can get it tuned local it'd be so much easier.

Jotech got pissed when I asked if they could tune my Utec...so I wouldn't go to them simply because they have a bad attitude towards people who want to pay them to do work.

We've tuned multiple SC VQs here at UpRev, but we won't tune ANY piggybacks. Stock ECU only. You'll have to ditch the SS & FMU, and add a Wlabro 255 and some 440cc or 550cc injectors (depending on your pulley). If you want a good before and after, we can do few dyno pulls then swap out all the parts and start tuning, but our labor isn't the cheepest.

for the record, Jotech recommends tuning HKS F-Con V-Pro. Why get something that is almost gonna do the job??? Joey (boostedz33) has proven to all those using Utec or Unichip that HKS is the way to go. His car ran flawless for almost 3 years and those who know him, knows how he drives.

Sounds like you were upset cuz we dont tune Utec. Trust me, sell that Utec (Nexx, this is more like DOS btw) and get HKS.

i hear ya but i dont have 3 to 4 grand laying around for a HKS install and tune. the utec is great for mild F/I setups like i have. i agree that the HKS is THE way to go but in my case its waaaay over kill and the utec is more then capable of handling my setup. in any case its better then the emanage series which seems to be popular with jotech.

Tony,

Why isn't Jotech more involved on this forum? I didn't even know you guys were HKS pro dealers. Lots of people on here are looking for an alternative to SGP for turbo builds.

Yeah I would love to get the top of the line HKS, but it's just out of my price range.

Jotech couldnt even get my boys SS box tuned correctly... when we pulled the SS box that Jotech wired up it was a total mess... all the wiring was sloppy and done with electrical tape... we had to wire back the stock ECU and ran the UTEC... GO WITH THE UTEC... way more range in tuning... not as good as the HKS obviously but the best bang for the buck! TAKE IT TO SGP in HOUSTON! my .02
