Default Clutch is sticky??and low end weak?

first off my clutch sometimes will go about half way down and then just stay there until i use my foot to bring it back up. My buddies said it could be a slate piston? Any Suggestions?

Also i took the Z out to Ennis and was runnin horrible times, it seems like my my car lags at the low end but my top end feels normal. All i got on it is an exhaust y-pipe, popcharger, and plenum spacer.

I was thinking a tune would help, will nissan do anything since the car is still under warranty?

probably not. unless they find a defect, a clutch is like tires or brakes...wont be cover'd under warranty just because it is worn out.

sounds like the clutch slave cylinder. my friend had the same problem in his Z28. pedal would stay half way to floor untill he lifted it with his foot. cost him $200 to get it fixed.
