Anyone want to help with a 5/16 spacer and mrev2 install in the austin/san antonio area? I dont have the necessary tools like a torque wrench.

I would but Im in Dallas right now...you really dont need a torque wrench...i didnt use one

well I guess its not a necessity but if would be nice to have. Don't wanna overtighten those plenum bolts! I'm preferably looking for someone that has already done this mod so the installation goes smoothly.

FYI, you will need a INCH Pound TQ wrench not a normal torque wrench. And you also need one that goes down very far. The only place I located one was Sears. You don't want to break those bolts. I have done two installs so far on this. But not sure really how much time I have right now. I am in San Antonio. hmm. I also don't really drink so no need for that. Let me get back to you in a few days so I can see my schedule.

Also you said MREV2? You don't have a REV-Up engine so you can't use the MREV kit. But you can use the spacer.

Wow that sucks lol. So non-revups run lean with the mrev? Is there any way to fix this? Would the HP gain just not be worth the cost?

The spacer itself will give you the most gain, but MREV2 will help your car a little because they sanded and rounded the ports inside the lower plenum. So overall it will help you a little bit.
