What city/town? It depends on what the town sets them at. 6 mph is pretty sad. What can a cop be thinking for 6 mph over.

It also depends who you got pulled over by, in Austin if you get pulled over by apd, sheriff (sp), or state trooper (highway patrol) it is a different price for each one.

I'd fight it.....or go find those lawyers that will almost garantee that you'll get off. Only thing with those is that it takes about 6 months until you find out if the ticket got dismissed.

6 mph over is a joke !

Good luck.

if you in the killeen/ fort hood area you'd be paayin around 100 bucks for that give or take a few bucks but there's a course you can take where i think you dont have to pay anything and just take the drivers safety course or what ever its called.... lol that gets you outa the ticket if you dont go over 15 or 25 mph....

damn 6 over sucks. i'd say just talk to the judge and be like you were just going with the flow of traffic and woulda been unsafe to go slow. if not the judge, the prosecutor or whoever, but fight that ****.
not to rub it in, but story. the other day i got pulled over at 12 30 am going 105 in a 65, after breaking a red light (that was a genuine accident though), cop didnt give me a ticket nor a warning, and i'm on probation and he already looked up my record. it was just a clear road and i decided the have fun, but i learned a lesson. i know my luck cant stay that good.

It usually says how much the fine will be on the back of the ticket. It goes in increments.
