anyone else in the Houston area getting calls from this number? i looked it up and its some kind of collection agency. calling me atleast twice a day. what to do?

next time they call tell them you would like to be removed from their calling list. if they call again, call your local police department and file a complaint. Problem solved.

things is they always ring just once before i even get a chance to pick up. ill give it a few more days before filing a complaint.

If you're innocent, then you answer asap and try to clear up the confusion.

If you owe them a debt, then don't answer and write a cease and desist letter to them via USPS certified mail, and require that they contact you only by mail. If they call after this, then you have legal rights for harrasment even if you do owe them money.


Also, if you're innocent, then you BETTER check your credit report as you may have had your identity stolen and have an account on there that they're trying to collect on. This is why they tell you to check at least once a year.

yeah, i stumbled upon that myself but dont what to make of it. ill call them back and hopefully theyll take off their database.

Register your phone number on DO NOT CALL LIST.. and NO FUTURE telemarketing firm will call you.

i keep getting a call from 1-727-712-0382. They've called me like 50 times in the last 2 months. They're pissing me off.
