I just moved here recently, and dont know much about the fine state of Tx. Is it a requirement to have a plate in front? I just moved from Wyoming, and the state law up there doesnt require you to have a plate in front.

Would some one help me out?

It really all depends on the cop. It is state law to have one, but not alot cops actually do unless they are suspicious about you. I know it sux but oh-well.

It is state law to have it. You can get pulled over for it, but most cops will not pull you for it. They will just add it on to your ticket if they get you for anything else. I got pulled for speeding and they added the front plate ticket to that.

I just put the plat on the car, took a photo and went to court. Got it dismissed and then took the plate back off.

 

Yea I haven't had front plates on my cars in a few years and never been bothered.

First things I would do if I moved to Texas from out of state....

Hit a titty bar...we have alot.

then after you've had a few (don't over do it), then head to SGP if you have any money left. lol. Boobies and fast cars....yummy.

fck a front plate...I haven't had one on the Z...EVER....I have yet to get a ticket for it and I've been pulled over twice in the Z. It is illegal...just don't put it on the dash...5-0 looks for that.

 

Move to Dallas it is much better because you will have Hal and Myself here! We are better than the southern boys!

 

So where are you in SA or H-town?

 

Dallas is nice but I prefer Austin. I was in Dallas last weekend and I wasnt impressed, its like a maze and the highways suck IMO. But you guys do have a killer downtown area

 

Growing up in SA gave me enough life experience to make that statement.

 

Not all of us make money like you doing ghey ****, so we have to buy minor mods and do self installs

That's pretty much Houston...drive 5 minutes East and you are officially in the city limits. About 25 minutes from SGP...make your first stop there....be warned...you will be addicted to modding once you leave.
