Ready to pull the trigger and go FI - Questions about shops in Houston
I've been waiting to turbo my G coupe for a while now and I think it's about time. I've been looking at the JWT turbo kit and Greddy Twin Turbo. However, my concern is, should I go with SGP or CarBoy to take care of my car? I know there's quite a few Houston members out here that goes to SGP. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance!

Go to SGP..they do tons of these cars (VQ) all the time. Constantly building monsters.
Carboy caters to more Hondas than anything else. They don't know their way around the VQ like SGP does. I've known Jackie @ Carboy a long time...if you are modding the VQ, go see Mark/Thomas @ SGP.

make arrangements early...there is a long line for SGP. Well worth the wait I might add.
jackie is cool at carboy, but working on VQ they really don't know. they just put the kit and done.. no tune nothing just whatever is there is there....
safe bet SGP talk to mark for details...

My vote goes for SGP. Mark and Lane are probably the two most knowledgeable people when it comes to these cars.
If you for some reason you don't go with them there is also Autobahn Motorsports. They have a big following in the supra world and have branched into the Vq35 platform as well now.

As far as Autobahn, take a look at the 2 cars from there that are at SGP now before dropping your car off there. 1 is a VQ, the other is a 2JZ...
