Please do not just choose a random parking lot. Find a business that would not mind hosting a meet.

1. Meeting all the Z peeps is cool, but it's always better if we can have a beer to go w/ the conversation.
2. I, personally don't wanna get chased away by cops for loitering like the rice meets.

Aside from that, I'd be down.
+1. Getting run off like HS kids FTL...

Fock central locations, that's the whole reason I moved out of Houston. Northside FTW!!!

Besides, it will probably be the usual suspects that actually show up anyway.

westheimer is a rice-central. that's where all the 5-0 are. that's why i was saying 249/1960 REI. and no i haven't contacted them. kind of a weird phone call because it has nothing to do with them.
that lot is HUGE and i don't think we'll have any problems on a thursday night.

just reply, if you're in. if not, reply with a good solution.

VO and I are at BW3 on Westheimer almost every Wednesday and don't see a lot of rice. However, it is kind of far for some *cough george*

As far as location, seems like somewhere on NW side seems more convenient for most of the people. All I can suggest is GET PERMISSION. It does not matter if it's thursday night, or cause we drive $30K cars, cops will notice a group of cars and people just standing around. Again, REI may have a nice big parking lot, but I can pretty much guarantee they aren't gonna be interested. Why would they, it's not like we'd go in and buy camping equipment. So essentially we'd be loitering. How bout hooters of of 249?

It is always best to have permission.

That Hooters is only 30 minutes away, I can do that. LOL!
