I used to be into PC gaming as well (mostly RTS's) but then came the day (2 1/2 years later) where my PC just wasnt able to perform well playing new games, then wouldnt play them at all 
and I cant afford paying $400+ upgrading it every couple of years, so now Im a console man all the way! lol

I used to be into PC gaming as well (mostly RTS's) but then came the day (2 1/2 years later) where my PC just wasnt able to perform well playing new games, then wouldnt play them at all and I cant afford paying $400+ upgrading it every couple of years, so now Im a console man all the way! lolyou need to upgrade every X years... usually with PC the games are made for the most common of setups... if your pc is no more than about 3 years old it should run most of the games today... i bought a PC about a year ago and it had a bit of trouble running HL2... afterwards bought a video card for about 120 and 2 gigs of ram for about 190... (below the cost of an Xbox 360) and i'm running games in High Def, way better than a 360 on a normal TV... if your running plasma it might rival PC though...
and yeah they're catching up... finally... after so long of trailing... but every advance has been through a PC first... (food for thought)
either way... to each their own... i'm glad you enjoy it...
