Default Texas Motorspeedway...Sunday 7/6

Sorry for sending this out late.

Sportbikehype (link below) is having a track day at Texas Motorspeedway this Sunday. It starts at 9 am and goes about all day. There is a track inside the oval track.

This is primarily for motorcycles but they let cars get out there too. I went out there last month. Some drag racing and then did about 10-15 laps. I have never raced my car on a track so this was a good way to get my pallet wet. You only pass on the straightaway or if the driver in front lets you. So it was relatively safe. Cost=$45. They did 2 session that day but i only did one. You need to bring a helmet...you can borrow mine if you don't have one.

This is not timed so if you want to time yourself...then bring a stop-watch or something.

I will be out there hopefully with my bike this time. Look forward to seeing you out there.

They have a bunch of dates on their website. So if you miss this one...there are plenty more. I just wanted to let you guys know, just in case you were interested.

I was approached by Duane of SBH (I'm the guy who organized all of those Subarus that were out autocrossing)...... I didnt ask at the time, but I'll ask you since you've done it.... how much or the track do you get to use??? I know you use the infield section extensively, but any parts of the main oval?
