Sugar Land housing is more expensive than Katy, IMO. There seems to be more action around SW area (close to Sugar Land), so probalby best to stay around there.

Right now my main concern is a secure area for living and parking my Z. Im going to have to initially lease an apartment or townhome and go from there. If anyone has any recommendations as far as nice apartments or townhome, preferably maybe with a garage, i would greatly appreciate it. I looked at buying but i found out that the property tax in Houston is crazy...

Where I live is pretty secure. Camden properties. It's a large apartment complex up front with townhomes in the rear. The townhome area is very quite and secluded. They are 3 stories high, with a 2 car garage on the 1st floor. Your living room and kitchen are on the 2nd, and master bedroom on the 3rd. It's around 1000 sq ft. of living space. Rent runs about $1100 per month. This includes cable and water, not electric. The units come with full sized washer and dryer also. Let me know if you need a referal. They'll give me $50 bucks off my rent. They have a side gate that is modded Z friendly also.

Sorry, no pics. The complex is off of Belt 8 and Briar Forest, on the feeder road.

Speed bumps will own us in the parking lot....

there are lots of options, just depends what your budget is, if you have a family, if you want to be close to work, etc etc.

here's a decent site to start out with.

as you probably know, crime is a big problem in houston so you might want to check out crime stats for the neighborhood you're in before moving there.

There are some nice apartments off of US-59 near sugar land an area called the fountains. Check out http://www.apartmentguide.com/ I usually pick one of these up at blockbuster when I'm apartment hunting. Most apartment complexes have garages that you can rent for extra. They may not be connected to your apartment though.
