Default How Much Do You Hate the Heat ?

OK,

I'm out here in Texas ( Dallas ) and the next 10 days shows nothing but 98* - 100* degree, plus you have to factor in the heat index, so around 104*f.

I know there are alot of you peeps out there in Nevada, Arizona, & even LA is getting cooked right now. I used to live out in the SFV and I heard it was like 110 out there the other day. I know it gets way hotter out in a couple of those states, but what the Hell do you guys do when its this hot ?

I have a SuperBlack Z and it gets to like 131*f in the car when I get off from work. I could probably cook an egg on the roof.

Anyone else hate the heat ?

Don't get me wrong here, but I can tollerate the cold better than the heat & humidity. I don't want to live in six feet of snow either, but 30 - 40's is alright with me.

if you hate heat, texas shouldn't be on the list of places to live. I use to live in Nevada and even though it was hot, it was dry heat. I feel it's much worse here in NC where humidity plays a big role.

I will gladly trade you that weather you get in the summer for the weather we get in in the winter. Today is our first day with temps in the high 80's to low 90's this year. I'm very excited.

Oh yeah,

I can see that you'd be real happy for warm or hot weather. I visited Chicago last year in the summer and liked the area very much. But I would not like to spend a winter up there.

Like I said...I like the cold, just not six feet of snow for months on end.

I grew up in Cali and New Mexico, then lived in SoCal for a few years. Imagine my 'surprise' when I moved up north to the frozen tundra. I felt like I was on the Jamaican sled team.

Summers are very nice here. I hate cold weather. I'd rather have hot than cold weather. It's easier for me to cool down or be active in the summer.

Stop bitching, your Z is still an acceptable vehicle to DD even when it's hot. I DD mine in MA even in the snow. I'd rather suffer through 100 degree temps than have to drive 5mph in the snow.
