I'm definitely down for a cruise or meet, meet then cruise, cruise then meet, etc.
there is a good community here in San Antonio, but it seem like yall up north seem to hang out more....I think ZSportOfSA have there meet every month and team210vq have theres every thursday..... but I hang out with the CLUBRSX people since they have alot of state meets and bbq and hill country sprint drive....

When I lived in downtown I went to a parking lot between commerce and main and took some cool pics if anyone is interested in doing a meet/cruise and stopping there for pics.
i havnt been to many of the cruise nights cuz im always working but id like to start if we can all agree on times and days. im not going to lie tues and wed night meets are good for me, but im sure we can all compromise. also downtown dallas meets would be great, its a centralized loc for everyone, yall think it over.

No offense to everybody, but everybody and their dogs think their location (or close to it) is the "centralized location."
No such thing exists as it's a variable. It always changes based on the attendees of the meet, which also changes based on weather, their mood, their schedule, etc.
I say, you pick a place and stick with it for that particular meet (so OP decides where to meet as he started the meet). If people don't want to make the drive to that particular location, well there's always another one in the future (whenever that is). Of course, that is not to say that others should not be thought of when choosing a location.

I just got my Z on Saturday and am looking to meet some fellow members this week. I go back to work on Friday night and will do nothing but work and sleep for 14 days. I've been watching the Wednesday night 360/Pioneer thread but it doesn't look like anyone has committed to that one.
I'm sitting here doing nothing and will be doing nothing until Friday. If anyone wants to meet up just to BS with another Z owner let me know. I went to Twin Peaks in Lewisville yesterday for lunch and that would be a cool place for some guys to meet (or gals
) Ok there's my bored call for help. LOL

As Brian (bommart) posted above, a few people are meeting up in Grapevine. If you were in Lewisville, Grapevine's not too far for you, neither.
I won't know until later, but I'll try to make it to that meet.

Yeah, Brian's easily one of the coolest guy that I know from my350z.com. Glad to see you bought the Z from a true enthusiast.

The wheels, exhaust, and everything else are exactly what I was looking to get if I bought a stock Z so this worked out great.

I forgot what mods he had. What are the current mod for the Z? His car is pretty much the same as mine, in terms of acceleration in a single gear.
To get back on topic..
I think the reason why people suffer in TX from lack of participation is that everybody is waiting for somebody else to take the initiative. And when somebody does set something up, they nitpick it (i.e., $40 is too high for a dyno day, Ennis is too far, there's a 10% chance rain, etc).
Can the DFW people try to make it to the meet Bommart set up? I'm unsure, due to work schedule being unknown at the moment, but if I'm off that day, I'll be there.

i understand its kinda hard to find a centralized meeting place, if someone should take the iniative then i say wed nights 8 or 9pm on spring valley and central expressway at bone daddys. maybe we can start with that, i mean its just a suggestion. we can start start next wed night so everyone can try to make it
