Is the TX sub-forum completely dead?
We used to have a meet every 1-2 weeks, or at the very least once a month, before 2008.
Why is nothing ever going on in TX anymore?

Photoshoot meet = hype died down.
Cruise meets = nonexistent.
Dyno meet = fail.
Drag race meet = biggest fail.

discuss..

 

only in texas do we have meets on tuesday and wednesday nights only, when many of us are working. what ever happened to the novel idea of weekend meets? then instead of having some sort of centralized location for a dfw meet we instead have these meets either in the very northern areas such as, plano, frisco, mckinney or southern location, south arlington.... wtf?!??! so to summarize, the locations fkn suck and so does the time of the week. ok im done ranting.

 

I would have to agree we need a normal meet.

what happened to the sunday night cruises we had last summer? that always seemed to be a really good turn out and the meeting place was somewhat central. i dont see why we wouldnt be able to get a couple of good meets/cruises put together a couple times a month, probably on sundays.

 

We ran out of routes to take. We can't be doing the same ones over and over again - that'll be boring.

 

i agree. i even got bored with them, but we can always draw out new routes. im sure some of us on here would have some good suggestions..maybe cruise to grapevine/grapevine lake or to downtown dallas, etc. <---just some random suggestions. but i would think sunday evenings would be the least busy for most of us.

Yeaah cruise meets. But yeah texas 350z community blows. Everyones cool, but no one is reliable me included. I do always make it to the weekly wednesday night meet. O and travis. Sorry I missed your call, but call me after work.

I wish you all weren't so far north. I'm stuck down in the crap hole border lands and hate it. Don't have a Z yet but I'd still like to meet some owners.

And yes, let's set up a meet. I don't know my work schedule until Thursday/Friday, but hopefully I can make the meet. This thread was intended to get the TX Z owners to participate in something (anything) a bit more.

Dead indeed, find it kind of sad I find myself browsing in other regions since they are much more active. Texas is such a huge state too.
