Guy cuts across my lane to make a turn and takes me out.

 

There's not much that fires me up more. People blab on cell phones constantly and about absolute nothingness. "Um, yeah. I'm in the produce aisle. We're going to eat spinach for supper and my shopping cart has a bad wheel......................".

Im sorry man, but mostly are you okay? Whats going on with the bike?

 

Im fine, made it out with just a broken collar bone and a little road rash.

Not sure what to do with the bike yet. I want to start taking it apart and seeing what needs to be ordered to fix it, but if the insurance companies want to look at it and see if its totaled then I don't want to touch it yet. I'd rather them total it. Its got about 33,000 miles on the motor and needs a rebuild.

Hope you are recovering well man. I had a buddy who got clipped by some a-hole truck driver in plano a couple years ago and his arm got some good road rash... one reason I wont ever get on a bike is the fact you have to worry about the other cars around you so much.
